Technology
The vision of the Archdiocese of Atlanta is that educational technology enhances the learning and knowledge generation process through experiential, enriching, and contextual use of technology. Our goal is to weave technology into various aspects of school life, addressing the needs of students, faculty and staff, and the greater school community. We provide our faculty with ongoing professional development to use the most current technology in the classroom.
Our schools provide a challenging and nurturing environment to prepare students for 21st century learning. Students are empowered to use technology to choose, achieve, and demonstrate competency in their learning goals. At the same time, we teach students to recognize the rights, responsibilities, and opportunities of living, learning, and working in an interconnected digital world. We teach our students to act in ways that are safe, legal, moral, and ethical. We want students to use technology within the design process to identify and solve problems by creating new, useful or imaginative solutions to become tomorrow’s innovative leaders.
